One Book | One Minnesota
One Book | One Minnesota is a new statewide book club that invites Minnesotans of all ages to read a common title and come together virtually to enjoy, reflect and discuss.
Through their local libraries, Minnesotans are invited to read the featured book selection and will have access to author videos, reading guides, and virtual book club discussions.
The Seventh Chapter features The Secret of Dreadwillow Carse by Brian Farrey.
The Secret of Dreadwillow Carse is a middle-grade novel of adventure, peasants, and princesses. It is available in ebook and digital audio through Ebooks Minnesota through May 15th. Copies are also available from your library and on OverDrive.
Join author Brian Farrey for a discussion via Zoom at 1 pm on May 11th. Register for the free conversation at thefriends.org.
After the author talk, Marshall-Lyon County Librarians will hold a follow-up discussion, date and time TBA.

One Book | One Minnesota is presented by The Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library, as the Minnesota Center for the Book, in partnership with State Library Services and sponsored by Spire Credit Union. Program partners also include Blackstone Audio; Council of Regional Public Library System Administrators; Mackin VIA; Minitex; the Minnesota Department of Education; and Soho Press. This program is made possible in part by the voters of Minnesota, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund, as well as through a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
