Reader's Cafe To Go Homebound Delivery

Homebound Delivery: Bringing the Library to YOU

Winter is a tricky time to live in the Midwest.  Whether it’s the weather making travel tough, staying in due to illness, or recovery from an accident or surgery, there are many reasons that Southwest Minnesotans may find themselves homebound.  Here is where your Marshall-Lyon County Library comes in to help!  Individuals who are unable to get to the library may be eligible for homebound delivery service.

Library staff work with homebound individuals to determine reading interests and will deliver a variety of materials for up to one month’s check-out.

You do not need to be permanently homebound to be eligible for service!

Do you have someone who assists you with errands?  They can pick up materials for you as well!

Call 507-537-7003 for more information or to register.

*Homebound delivery is currently available to residents of Marshall, Balaton, & Cottonwood.

Friendly reminder, for those who prefer to pick up their own holds, the Marshall drive-up window is currently open Tuesdays from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.!
