Open Hours through May 31st
All branches will be closed Saturday, May 29th through Monday, May 31st for Memorial Day weekend.
Please do not enter the library if you are not feeling well. If you are not yet fully vaccinated, please wear a mask that covers your mouth and nose for your safety and the safety of those around you. Vaccines for COVID-19 are free and available for everyone ages 12 and up. Learn more about the vaccines available and how to get one here: https://mn.gov/covid19/vaccine/index.jsp
If you need transportation to get a vaccine, you can schedule a free ride from United Community Action Partnership’s Community Transit. When you call, tell the dispatcher that you need transportation for vaccination. To schedule your ride, call:
- Marshall office, serving Lincoln, Lyon and Redwood counties, 507-537-7628;
- Jackson office, serving Cottonwood, Jackson and Murray counties, 507-847-2632;
- Luverne office, serving Rock County, 507-283-5058;
- Pipestone office, serving Pipestone County, 507-825-1180.
Marshall Building
Monday – Friday, 10 am to 5:30 pm.
Saturday, 10 am – 2 pm.
Study and meeting rooms will not be available until after July 1st.
Marshall Drive-Up Window
Monday – Friday, 4 pm – 5:30 pm.
Saturday, 9 am – noon.
The drive-up window is for holds pick-up only. Please be ready to show your library card. Holds can be placed online or by contacting the library during browsing hours. Learn how to place holds yourself here.
The drive-up window is located on the east side of the building just before the drive-up drop box.
Balaton & Cottonwood Libraries
Wednesday, 10 am to 1 pm.
Pick-up and delivery options are still available. Book drops are emptied weekly.

Saturday, 10 am – 2 pm.

Computers & Wifi
Public computers and printers are available for use in all buildings.
Wireless printing from personal devices (smartphones, laptops) is available at the Marshall library.
Wifi is also available 24/7 in parking spaces close to the library building. Access the Public wifi with password bookstoread.

By-request pick-up and delivery of library materials is still available. Requests for pick up materials and home delivery can be made by calling 507-537-7003 or email library@marshalllyonlibrary.org
